Printed on back: "TIDIES 'LAST SUPPER' FIGURES--Technician Bob King dusts off the figure of Simon at the Life-sized display of the 'The Lord's Last Supper' at San Francisco beach. At left is Matthew, and center, Jude. These seemingly-real figures are the creation of John Michael Schlisser, a Serbian by birth, now at 84, residing in Los Angeles. They are not wax, as might be supposed. Schlisser found a plastic composition which he felt would best simulate flesh tones and texture and spent years of patient work with chisel, knife and brush to shape the figures.".
