Dorn, Brooklyn Republican, Navy officials and two representatives of employee groups at the Brooklyn Navy Yard point to the subject [on a large globe] of their Washington talks after conference on planned job cuts at the borough yard. As a result of the conference, the original 10 percent cut, meaning 2,000 jobs, was scaled down to less than 8 percent, or 1,500 jobs. Left to right are Rear Admiral W. D.
